Chad was killed by a grenade when he was in the gunner seat up top. He yelled "grenade" and those inside were able to protect themselves. His helmet got stuck in the opening and he was unable to get down out of harms way. He died 2/17/2007 and I will never forget the call from his mother. We were his second home. He is missed to this day. |
