Over the last several years, Eugene has been growing up. The new buildings are modern and up to date. However, it was not necessary to throw away the old parts of town, and some of the new parts of town have maintained the design of years past.

Eugene now has its share of high rise buildings, a big new federal building is under-construction, and Eugene is all grown up now. But Eugene, Oregon is still the Eugene that her residents have loved for so many years.

If you take a stroll in downtown Eugene, you can still say "Hello", or "How are you today?" and the other person will respond with "hello" and the other person won't look at you like you are crazy because you took the time to talk to them.

You can take a minute to sit and relax in one of the coffee shops, or you can just sit and enjoy the fresh air. Thats right, fresh air!

There is a night life in Eugene, but it is not filled with honking horns from the hussle of automobiles at night. It is filled with casual walks, or relaxing dinners in one of the many restaurants around Eugene.

There is an atmosphere of lets just all get along. you be who you want to be, and let me be who I want to be. Let's Just relax!
